CAREER HISTORY:
1998—Present The Clayton Engineering Company, St. Louis, Missouri
As a Project Manager, Mr. Skelton designs municipal projects and commercial and industrial development projects. Projects involve site layout and grading, street improvements, storm and sanitary sewer design, and easement plat preparation.
1995—1998 Beling Consultants, Moline, IL
As a Project Manager, Mr. Skelton designed highway projects and city streets. He also performed surveying and inspection duties. Notable projects have included a 20 mile stretch of Route 61 between Blue Grass and Muscatine in Iowa. He performed all the earthwork calculations, as well as culvert design, intersection design, and quantity calculations.
Summers 1992 - 1994 Illinois Department of Transportation, Peoria, Illinois
As a Civil Engineering Intern, Mr. Skelton performed engineering layout and inspection of roads and tested concrete mixes and materials in the field for compliance with project specifications.
