Mr. Staley was elected to the Board of Directors in 2000. In 2003, he was named the Corporate Secretary and an ESOP Trustee. The majority of his day-to-day duties involve acting as a project manager for the company.
As a Project Manager, Mr. Staley manages all aspects of a variety of projects. Responsibilities include hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and design including computer modeling of rivers and streams, detention basins, culverts, channels, closed conduits, and commercial site floodplain recovery and permitting. Mr. Staley provides analysis and design for commercial, industrial, and residential subdivisions including site grading, sanitary systems, storm sewers, water mains and road improvements.
Mr. Staley also provides coordination between contractors, utilities, and local, state and Federal agencies, including the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Missouri Department of Transportation, the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, AmerenUE, Laclede Gas, Missouri American Water Co., Missouri Department of Natural Resources, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis County, Monarch-Chesterfield Levee District, Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, and various cities in and around the St. Louis metropolitan area.
